Job Description
Pricing Estimates
Prepare international pricing estimates for household goods moving services from and to more than 10+, countries, requested by internal managers, sales representative and external customers.
Prepare pricing estimates using multiple in-house tariff and pricing systems.
Prepare accurate pricing time-sensitive estimates within the set deadlines.
Create and maintain pricing estimate documents in the appropriate format and location.
Routinely update the in-house tariff systems with changes and revisions to maintain accurate costs and margin information.
Periodically review country operations costs and update master costs lists/country in the in-house tariff systems.
In order to develop competitive rates, routinely source and secure rates for all modes of transport.
RFP/RFQ Process
Assist in the gather data process required to respond to large customer requests for large volumes of international business.
Respond to RFP/RFQ requests in a timely manner with completed documentation (Complete Bid Forms, Contract Forms, General T’s and C’s, etc ) within the required deadline.
Analysis
Perform detailed competitive costing analysis, develop pricing options and scenarios and compare net results Identify industry trends with internal customers and address any margin opportunities.
Recommend profitable changes to our pricing methods.
Skills
Positive attitude and self-motivated
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Related Field
Proficiency in Excel (spreadsheet creation and maintenance; graphing; charting; pivot tables)
Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as: discounts, interest, percentages, area, circumference and volume)
Ability to work with multiple currencies
Ability to analyze and solve moderately complex problems
Possess strong capability for accuracy and attention to detail
Must be very organized and able to prioritize task but work within with very strict turnaround times
Ability to work well independently under remote supervision
Possess strong verbal and written English communication skills
