Job Description

Position Purpose
Serve as the single point of coordination for assigned any type of moves(internal, international and domestic moves into and out of the local region) and logistic shipments. To oversee the functioning of the office by ensuring smooth operations and to support staff and management for all office related matters
Responsibilities /Duties / Function Tasks
Manage the household goods and logistics process from booking to delivery.
Responsible for coordinating international moves with corporate clients dealing with both imports and exports.
Coordinating Air, Sea and Land Operations for Import / Export.
Counsel clients to ensure the best ongoing experience regarding their household goods shipments, pack outs, deliveries, fine arts, etc.
Manage the expectations of both domestic and international customers.
Answer questions and offer solutions in order to clients and offer the best moving services possible.
Liaise with moving operations, customer service reps, sales and crew leaders in order to stay up to date on customer needs, service developments, insurance matters, etc.
Work closely with Quoting department to best price for services.
Confirming transport and service quotes from agents and vendors, and requesting a discount when possible.
Request and book export and import shipments with agents and vendors.
Check documentation for outgoing and incoming shipments for completeness and accuracy ( waybill,customs,etc).
Close jobs with actual cost calculations (approved by Country Manager / regional operations manager).
Assist the crew leader with any unique crew skill set or equipment requirements to handle pack outs, deliveries, shipments.
Coordinate shipment schedules with crew leader and customs specialist.
Maintain current status of all open jobs in Move One tracking system.  
Manage office duties required to keep the office and operations running smoothly (payments, supplies, accounting, etc).

Skills

College/University degree.

Minimum 1 year Moving Coordination.

Experience Minimum 1 year of office administration.

Experience Very good English communication skills (verbal and written).

Good computer skills (intermediate level preferred: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Must be willing and able to negotiate rates and terms with vendors and suppliers.

Must be very results oriented and very customer oriented.

Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.

Ability to work in fast paced and environment and manage diverse activities.

Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.

Effectively works well under pressure.

Good with numbers and experience managing a budget.
