Job Description
Position Purpose
| The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and effective day to day operations of the Moving & Logistics teams with specific responsibility for the crew, warehouse and surveyors. Cargo jobs coordination, Pet jobs related on ground operations. Will be responsible to collect the documents from clients/embassies and delivering them to vendors and customs broker offices. |
| Responsibilities / Function Tasks / Duties |
| Work with the Operations Manager to source and manage third party providers in terms of quality and price ensuring adherence to Move One policies, FIDI and Move One standards and KPI's. |
| Will be responsible for handling cargo jobs, coordinate with quoting team, assisting in securing needed rates and information in timely manner from cargo vendors. |
| Will be responsible for handling Live Animals (Pets) related operations, visiting different ministry offices in Riyadh to obtain required permits for imports and exports jobs, visiting airport and cargo office for processing ok to forward requests. Working with customs broker in import customs clearance of the pet imports to make sure the process goes smooth at the airport. Updating customers and agents throughout the process. |
| Ensure that the service the customer requested is successfully delivered. |
| Ensure smooth flow of information between surveyors, move coordinators and outsourced crews. |
| Monitor feedback on all aspects of the moving process, address and refine the process to reduce complaints. |
| Review and monitor insurance claims and address training needs where proven necessary. |
Skills
| 2 years experience of moving, cargo, logistics services in Saudi Arabia |
| Strong English skills (written and verbal) are essential. |
| Understanding Arabic language (listening and speaking) is preferred. |
| Computer literate. |
| Valid Saudi Arabia Driving License |
