Job Purpose
The Systems Administrator is responsible for the support, installation/configuration, operation and improvement of several business-critical applications, specifically MS Dynamics AX and onwards to MS Dynamics 365.
Responsibilities / Duties /Function Tasks
Support and Help Desk Role for the AX 2012 application.
Configuration of key modules eg: general ledger set up and nominal account modifications.
Managing user access within AX.
Modifying AX workflows.
Maintain application environment both for production and DR.
Developing reporting to meet user requirements.
Application of systems fixes as and when necessary.
Liaising and managing the 3rd party delivery partners/service providers for systems development/implementation matters.
Is responsible for documenting the business requirements which express what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected.
Skills
Experience of working with or supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
Working experience of the full SQL stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, SQL Server).
Able to work effectively with end users and third parties.
Experience with Business intelligence tools.
Understanding of ASP.NET, C#, HTML, CSS, XML/XLT, MS Access.
