Quoting Coordinator

Position Purpose
The Quoting Coordinator supports the Lead Quoting Coordinator in developing competitive and commercially sound pricing solutions for domestic and international moving services.

Working closely with Sales, Operations, Customer Care, agents, and vendors, the Quoting Coordinator is responsible for preparing accurate quotations, negotiating supplier rates, responding to requests for proposals, maintaining pricing data, and ensuring timely delivery of quotations that support Move One's business objectives and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Quotation Management

·       Review survey information and customer requirements to develop pricing solutions.

·        Ensure quotations are submitted within agreed service levels and deadlines.

·        Follow up on pending quotations with agents, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

·        Monitor quotation status and maintain accurate records within company systems.

·        Obtain, negotiate, and maintain competitive rates from agents, vendors, freight forwarders, and other service providers.

·        Analyze supplier, agent, and vendor rates to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

·        Identify opportunities to improve margins while maintaining service quality.

·        Collaborate closely with Sales and Account Management teams to support business development opportunities.

·        Liaise with Move Coordinators, agents, and vendors to obtain information required for accurate pricing.

·        Promote cross-selling opportunities by identifying additional services that may benefit customers.

Systems & Data Management

·        Maintain pricing information, tariffs, country data, and supplier rates within InTrack and other company systems (ie. MATT, PricePoint, MovePilot etc).

·        Ensure pricing databases remain accurate, current, and compliant with company standards.

·        Assist in driving system adoption and data integrity across pricing-related processes.

 Compliance & Continuous Improvement

·        Maintain working knowledge of industry regulations, customs requirements, and operational restrictions impacting international moves.

·        Support process improvement initiatives designed to increase efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.

Analytical Skills

·        Strong numerical and analytical capabilities.

·        Ability to evaluate pricing data and make commercially sound decisions.

·        Proven ability to negotiate favorable rates and commercial terms with agents, vendors, freight forwarders, and service providers.

·        Ability to balance competitiveness, service quality, and profitability.

·        Ability to manage multiple quotations and priorities simultaneously.

·        Consistently delivers work accurately and within deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

·        Bachelor's degree preferred.

·        Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in pricing, quotations, moving, relocation, freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation.

·        Demonstrated experience negotiating rates and commercial terms with agents, vendors, freight forwarders, and other third-party service providers.

·        Excellent written and spoken English.

·        Advanced computer literacy
