About the Role
We are looking for a Quoting Team Leader to lead our Moving Quoting Team and ensure accurate, competitive, and timely quotations across international markets. The role combines team leadership, commercial pricing, vendor negotiation, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Quoting Team, managing workload, priorities, and performance.
- Ensure quotations meet 24/48-hour SLAs and quality standards.
- Review pricing, margins, costing, and quotation accuracy.
- Handle complex, VIP, multi-country quotations, RFQs, RFPs, and tenders.
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Move Coordination.
- Negotiate rates with agents, carriers, forwarders, and vendors.
- Monitor KPIs and drive team productivity and continuous improvement.
- Coach and develop team members and support recruitment and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate tariffs, pricing tools, systems, and country information.
Skills Description
- 4–5+ years’ experience in Moving, Relocation, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics pricing.
- Experience in international household goods/moving is highly preferred.
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of international moving quotations and costing.
- Experience with RFQs/RFPs, tenders, vendor negotiations, and multi-country pricing.
- Strong commercial, analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
