UPS Operations Coordinator- Baghdad

Responsibilities

Import Operations:
Manifesting and coordinating custom clearance for shipments going to Baghdad.
Updating arrival information in the UPS system.
Updating government hold exceptions in the UPS system.
Coordinating with UPS Erbil team for custom cleared and hold shipments at Erbil airport.
Coordinating with UPS Erbil team and Move One warehouse for trucking of the MAWB between Erbil and Baghdad.
Creating custom tracker Excel for all custom cleared shipments with duties, charges, and trucking fees.
Creating receipts for custom cleared shipments along with UPS tracking and fees in local currency.
Entering all details in the Custom Tracker Excel and providing supporting documents to Erbil Finance team within 24-36 hours
Checking all tracking shipments once the truck is received at the Move One warehouse in Baghdad.
Providing duties and taxes receipts to drivers for chargeable shipments
Preparing damage inspection reports and photos for evaluation by the Operations Manager.
Performing inbound scans in the UPS system for custom cleared shipments
Updating exception notifications for hold shipments in the Erbil customs.
Scanning shipments in UPS Global Pickup & Delivery (GPD) before delivery.
Handling remote area shipments and following up with delivery agents until delivery is completed.
Running daily Tundra location report for drivers.
Monitoring import exception notifications and closing shipments within 10 days.
Creating free domicile receipts in USD and sending weekly petty cash report to Erbil Finance team.

Export Operations
Creating labels for export walk-in customers in the WorldShip system and collecting advance freight charges.
Conducting physical searches for export shipments and ensuring compliance with restrictions and regulations.
Scanning AWB copy, invoice, and packing list in the UPS system.
Updating pickup scans manually in Tundra TPD for all export shipments.
Departing shipments from Baghdad station and sending pre- alerts to Erbil team.
Resolving customer complaints and issues related to export operations.
Monitoring export exception notifications and closing shipments within 10 days.
Processing return shipments of damaged or return parts from Dell customers back to Erbil Move One warehouse.

Knowledge of customs regulations and import/export processes
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Excellent communication and coordination abilities

Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints
Familiarity with financial tracking and reporting
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
